飯岡丘陵の南東斜面に位置し、かつては2基あったという。 花崗岩の地山をくりぬいて作られている点に特徴がある。 昭和53（1978）年の発掘調査で、古墳内部の床面から古墳時代後期の須恵器（すえき）がみつかったが、平安時代に再利用されたこと、室町時代に内部が荒らされていたことなどがわかった。そのため、作られた当時の状態は不明である。 松井・薪などの横穴群とともに南山城の古墳時代後期の実態を考えるうえで貴重な一例である。

Inooka Yokoana Tumulus
This barrow stands on the southeast slope of Inooka Hill. It is said that there’re two barrows at one time. It is characterized by dots made by hollowing granite. An earthen vessel of the latter Kofun period(about the early of the 6th century to the middle of the 7th century) was found on the surface of the floor. But it is not sure the state of that time.
